I'm a farther in resistant waiting. This episode starts with my beautiful wife in the Labor & Delivery Department of Presbyterian of Dallas Hospital at 23 weeks. Our last child, Victory, was born here at 25 weeks on December 29, 2006. She died on January 14, 2007 of NEC. We were gracefully told not to try this again as there is little chance of carrying a child beyond 25 weeks. While it's easy for a professional to state facts, it's even easier for a father left wanting to give into hope. These are the honest thoughts of a farther struggling with the seriousness of the moment: Anything could happen at any moment.
